Banquet Chef

Under the supervision of the head chef, you will help prepare and execute banquet menus for our corporate events, weddings, and private receptions.

Your tasks :

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the set banquet menus;
  • Ensure that everything is set up before the events;
  • Comply with standards for quality, presentation, and food safety;
  • Handle the high volume of work associated with banquets and receptions;
  • Work together with the entire kitchen staff;
  • Assist with the receipt and storage of products;
  • Keep the kitchen and equipment clean;
  • Other related tasks.

You’re detail-oriented, quick on your feet, and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen (ideally in banquet or catering);
  • Knowledge of MAPAQ standards;
  • Food safety certification (preferred);
  • Available evenings and weekends;
  • Effective stress management and the ability to work quickly.
