Château Joliette, a hotel renowned for its warm welcome, attentive service, and commitment to excellence, is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join its management team.

Reporting to senior management, you will play an active role in fostering a positive corporate culture centered on respect, performance, and employee well-being.

Your responsibilities

Staffing (Recruitment)

Manage the entire recruitment process (posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and hiring);
Work with managers to assess staffing needs;
Help with the onboarding and orientation of new employees.

Work Permit Tracking

Verify and ensure the validity of foreign employees' work permits;
Keep immigration records up to date;
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and cooperate with authorities as needed.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

Help implement the institution's occupational health and safety policies;
Monitor compliance with mandatory training;
Manage CNESST files and accident/incident reports.

Other HR tasks

Support managers in implementing HR policies;
Participate in performance evaluations;
Contribute to a healthy and respectful work environment.

Qualifications

DEP, AEC, or certificate in human resources or a related field (preferred);
At least 1 year of experience in human resources (preferred);
Independence, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills;
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
Fluency in French (preferred).
