- College diploma in human resources management or other relevant field (an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered).
- Rigor, dynamism, initiative and a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws, OHS standards and/or immigration processes: a significant asset.
- Experience in the hospitality sector: a major asset.
Day-to-day HR management
- Actively participate in the entire staffing cycle: posting, sorting resumes, interviewing, integrating and welcoming new employees;
- Act as a resource for managers and employees on issues related to HR policies, benefits and internal practices;
- Coordinate administrative activities related to payroll, employee files, internal communications, etc;
- Support managers in managing the work climate, mobilizing and recognizing employees;
- Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and internal processes;
Support for immigration
- Support international employees in their integration process and in obtaining and renewing work permits;
- Collaborate with specialized agencies and competent authorities to ensure file compliance;
- Rigorous monitoring of migration deadlines and status;
Occupational health and safety (OHS)
- Participate in the development, implementation and updating of health and safety policies;
- Help identify and analyze workplace risks;
- Support incident/accident investigations and liaise with CNESST;
- Raising team awareness of good OHS practices through communication tools and training;
Projects and communication
- Write clear, engaging internal communications;
- Participate in various special projects related to organizational development, diversity and inclusion, or workplace wellness;
- Work closely with other departments to foster a harmonious, high-performance work environment;
Skills and qualities required
- Baccalaureate (Preferred)
- Human Resources: 1 year (Desirable)
- French (Desirable)
