Reporting to the hotel’s head housekeeper, the main duties of the room attendant are:
- Providing professional and courteous service at all times;
- Keeping guest rooms clean, including changing bed linen, vacuuming, and dusting furniture;
- Cleaning bathrooms, mirrors and dressers;
- Making beds;
- Informing supervisor of repairs that need to be made;
- Performing all other tasks related to the housekeeping department;
- Complying with the policies, procedures and service standards of the hotel;
Requirements
- be flexible in terms of work schedules (weekdays, weekends and holidays);
- be detail-oriented;
- be physically able to perform the tasks required;
- be a team player;
- have good interpersonal skills
